Nigerian vocalist/producer RRM was born Rimamnungskep Rifunsikwe in Taraba, Taking, in 1991. His interest in music began while attending Taraba state  University in his late teens, and he started making his own beats and investigating music production. and began pursuing music full-time, and releasing his debut single, "HUSTLER,"produce by mix maye in 2020 The single received some attention for its mix of clubby production, high-energy vocals, and Afro-pop rhythms, and was followed shortly by second single "CORO" Work began on his debut album,I LOVE MY LIFE, which was released in 2020 and produced a plethora of singles.
Success came quickly for RRM, and he sated his fans with a string of new tracks released over the next several years while work was being done on his sophomore album, Between 2018 and 2019, singles like "MY WOMAN ," and "DIE FOR YOU" (among many others) piled up, sometimes featuring collaborations with bigger-name rappers like HB,Asap lino, ROCK T,DANOO ICE an VIC In the time between albums, RRM also inked a deal with RCA and began his own label, although The RRM still remained unreleased in mid-2020.
